As Buddha put it so eloquently: "The problem is that you think you got time". Well, that may be a warning against the lethargy that one feels when it comes to pursuing spiritual messages. But, often, it is true for all walks of life.
What's the right time to pursue passion?
Not everyone, especially in India, allows you to follow your goals and passions at the right age -- the social trend is to first study till you graduate, then decide what to do in life! And then, marriage follows suit...
But what is it you really want to do?
Nobody tells you or prompts you to think about what you really want to do. Following social trends and passions is going to take you nowhere... you will have to stop, question yourself and make yourself understand that you need to start quite early if you really want to pursue your passions...
Could never go back
Though I have been dying to get back to practicing the tabla, I simply haven't been able to. I don't blame my daughter or my wife, but I do blame myself for not starting earlier...
