Power Poses that will boost your mood and balance emotions




Our posture says a lot about our personality, the way we carry ourselves and how we carry our mindset. A straight posture where we are at eye level with the rest of the world, and our torso in vertically and horizontally aligned with the posture of our head – it shows a lot of confidence on our part.
An individual’s posture not only represents how they are feeling but also reflects how they will feel depending on their posture. You might be slightly shocked to know that an individual’s posture can really affect their cortisol level in their brains which can manipulate your stress levels to balance it and reduce the visible signs of it.
Have you given it a thought what is that one pose that can pump up your spirit and amp up your mood? It is called the Power Pose. On a spiritual level standing up tall can make you receive all the energies from the Universe without being tampered or to flow through you bent and broken because of your bad posture.
Here are 5 super-poses that you can practice and help yourself.
Gratitude Pose
When you stretch towards the ceiling holding your hands up in a V-shape and say Thank you out loud looking up at the sky, it not only aligns you better with the Universe but raises your vibrations too.

When you have a heart and gesture of Gratitude, your life is full of abundance and happiness.
Love Pose
Hold your heart gently while you stand straight and tell yourself how much you love yourself and how thankful you are for every time your heart beats. Tell yourself over how positively it affects you to be able to stand up in your own power and tell yourself that you are beautiful inside out and how much love you have for yourself. It will not only make you positive but also help you understand how important you are. Once you in-tune with yourself, you will be in-tune with others too.
Happiness and Joy Pose
When you want to feel joy and happiness surging within through and through – just stand with your feet slightly apart your arms stretched wide apart, palms open. Let you head bent backwards slightly and protrude your torso slightly outwards – Ah! What energies! I can almost feel it in my head whilst jotting it down for you to try!
Calm Pose
Stand with your feet slightly apart and your knees relaxed. Close your eyes and let nature talk to your skin and body. Let your hands be relaxed, just feel and do nothing. Let yourself feel loved and important. Nature and Universe are all loving, it does not hold grudges or have any bias.
Receiving Pose
Receiving is also an art. When you stand in the Receiving Pose, you are also telling the Universe that you are open to receiving and you feel gratitude for all that you received. Just stand straight and do not hunch your back. Hold your hands up in a gesture as if you are receiving a gift. Just let yourself be for a bit and not let anything come between you and the Universe. You will not believe the instant effect it will have on your system.
